Kunvald Slavín

It was built behind the Church of St. George in 2017 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of colonel František Trejtnar, RAF pilot, who had been born in Kunvald and fought in the Battle of Britain.

Memorial plaques of important local citizens are installed here (you can find brief information about them elsewhere in this publication). The author of the sculpture and all the masonry works is Ms Marie Kudrnka Vamberská. The garden was designed and supervised by Ing. Alena Rabasová.
